Cosmetic surgery today

According to recent studies, procedures are becoming less and less invasive. Nowadays, subtle aesthetics and a natural appearance are more popular than overcorrection, or a completely wrinkle free appearance. Also "FatFreezing" procedures are becoming widespread. The regions of the face or the body are cooled; the fat is then eliminated naturally by the body. "Thermage" or "Ultherapy" methods have reversed functions (ex the neck), consequently tissue is heated, and thus it shrinks. These methods could delay a surgical intervention. The procedures also include Botox injections and fillers for gentle, non-invasive treatment of wrinkles.

Men are increasingly demanding cosmetic surgery- the most popular treatments range from tummy tightening to genital corrections.

Possibilities and limits of Aesthetic and / Plastic Surgery

Cosmetic surgeries optimize the patient's appearance. Unfortunately, there are many practinioners who promise quick and inexpensive procedures. Bad results can lead to serious medical complications.

A plastic surgeon should be realistic, responsible and should advise the patient and discuss the plausibility of an operation as well as its risks, success rates and sustainability when it comes to the operation’s result. We develop a medically reasonable and realistic treatment plan with you. In some cases, we might also advise against plastic surgery. The so-called ‘reject-rates’ show to which extent a surgeon is willing to go to take responsibility for his or her patient. From the beginning, we have an interdisciplinary cooperation with experts from other disciplines; our patient care is based on the most advanced international standards. We appreciate your trust in our competence, years of experience and empathy. We look forward to meeting you!
