Thigh, upper arm, abdominal wall, chest tightening

Weight loss is usually accompanied by over-hanging skin. The extra skin is removed and the remaining skin can be tightened with the subcutaneous tissue. The most common forms of thigh procedures include the removal of saddlebags. The tissue accumulations can be successfully treated by surgical tightening. The body shape is optimized from the groin to the knee area.

The tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) includes the elimination of excessive and sagging skin below the navel and replaced by the expanded skin above the navel, which is tightened and shifted downward. The umbilical form can also be corrected. This results in a firmer and flatter stomach.

The course of treatment

The surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia and takes about 3-4 hours.

The patient will be able to work again after 2-3 weeks. To avoid swelling and to model the skin, a special compression garment is adjusted, and should be worn for six weeks. The sutures are removed after about two to three weeks.
