Breast augmentation

Would you rather have a bigger bust size? Many women have this desire and do not feel comfortable in their own skin. Genetically small breasts, slackened tissue after pregnancy and breastfeeding can be fixed, if the chest does not fit harmoniously with the rest of the body. A breast augmentation procedure achieves a more attractive appearance and boosts a woman’s self-confidence. Patients who do not feel uncomfortable with foreign material in the body, or for those who fear a capsular contracture, there is an alternative therapy: breast augmentation with autologous fat.

The operation

Breast augmentation through cohesive silicone gel: the procedure is performed with gentle anesthesia and takes 1 to 1.5 hours.

Are the implants safe?

Modern surgical techniques and high-quality implants provide safe and natural-looking results. The silicone cushions are well tolerated, have a natural feel and have been tested for many years. The "ideal" implant is selected through detailed planning. The implants last from 10 to 15 years.

What happens after breast augmentation?

Breastfeeding may be impaired. If the implant is inserted under the crease below the breast or the armpit, you might still be able to breastfeed.

What do I do after the surgery?

We recommend you rest for two weeks, in the first days after surgery pain may occur and can be treated with painkillers.

  • Protect the upper body in the first few weeks after surgery
  • Do not practice sports in the first few weeks after surgery
  • Wear a surgical bra for 5 weeks during the day and at night
  • You should be able to work within a few days (except for physically demanding jobs)

For a satisfactory result, you should select the appropriate implant shape and size. The new breast should fit harmoniously with the figure.

Dr. Berger would be pleased to answer further questions and explain all the details during the consultation.
